Saved from what?
Saved from the wages of sin!!
I’ve never looked at myself as a soul-winner. When people were at the alter to receive salvation, I wasn’t a counselor to pray with them to receive Jesus, I was at the piano.
What is a soul winner? We think of it as a person who leads a person in the sinners prayer. Actually Paul said in 1st Corinthians 3:6, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”
We are all soul winners in different ways. I used to downplay my role as a musician and think I was not as important as an evangelist or a Sunday School teacher. God uses us all in His work and one position is no more important than the other. Those in the limelight are important but the little lady or gentleman who is quietly praying for them is just as important.
Remind yourself that God needs all of the body working together for the skeleton to function. Then little feet are just as important as the heart. The body can’t move even with the pumping of blood if the foot can’t or doesn’t function!
Rejoice in your part and be diligent to function to the best of your ability!
God needs all of us.
