Writing the book, AGAINST ALL ODDS, We Found The Perfect Love, was a journey of love. We were not a perfect couple, but we had perfect love. While researching information, I have seen God’s hand directing my journey in the picture He was painting. There is so much information I stumbled upon, and I know it was God allowing me to find the facts to write this story. Not knowing what had happened to him, I made a different life but was unhappy. Without a clue where I was, Odis made a poor choice and was not joyful. We were two misfits living in a cold, loveless world without being together.
Odis wanted a perfect journey where everything happened today the same as yesterday and will happen again tomorrow in picture perfectness. He did not do ‘change’ well. I always teased him about not liking things being different, but in writing this book, I have discovered, I don’t like change either.
When things do not go as we perceive them, it’s difficult to understand, but God sees the last brush stroke of the painting. He will take things meant for our harm and turn them around for our good. He makes the crooked way straight. As we place our trust in God, we can know His actions are for our ultimate best. God knows the rest of the story.
