If you were born before 2001, you will never forget where you were and what you were doing 25 years ago today. Watching planes deliberately fly into the buildings of the Twin Towers in New York City, was unbelievable. In a country that regards life as sacred, we never believed anyone could hate so much that they would destroy not only their life but the lives of thousands of people in their path of destruction!
Hate destroys! Love redeems!
Through this experience we have become suspicious of one group of people. Today 25 years later, that suspicion has elevated.
I snapped the first picture in 1986 when we visited New York. It has the twin towers in the background that we had visited the day before, traveling on an elevator to the top floor where an observation deck allowed you to feel the air and see the city from the tallest building at the time.
I have a fear of heights and did not venture to the edge of the deck and was nervous for those who did.
Never in a million years did I think we would see it fall 15 years later!
Every year since 2012, I pray a stronger prayer for God to protect my baby living there!

As we observe 25 years today, remember the lives lost that day, and give God thanks for your freedom in this life and the one to come!
