Have you ever looked back at life events and pondered the happenings and thought, ‘what if I had made a different decision or choice? We’ve all done it! But…
Have you ever thought about the person you made the choice for? What would their life have been like had you not come along and been a part of their future? Were you a positive influence or a negative one? Did you make a difference in their future? That mindset changes your entire perspective on the choices we make!
I decided to follow Jesus at an early age and was raised in a Southern Bible Belt church. Even though I chose to follow a spiritual path in my youth, I didn’t always make good choices. But looking back at 80-plus years of choices, I can see that God’s love followed me in the choices I made. In the wonderful decisions as well as the bad ones! He allowed me freedom to ‘test the waters’ and grow, but would rein me in and keep me from getting too far from His plan!
No matter your age, sit in a meditative place and reflect on your journey to this point! Look at your choices, choose one and think, ‘What if I had made a different decision?’ How would it have changed their lives and affected them, and how would it have been different if I were not in it?’
Making Jesus your Savior is brought to completion when you make Him Lord of your life!
You can trust that He will make all your choices, the good and not-so-good ones, work for your good!
Accepting Him in your heart brings peace and security, but making Him the Lord of your life brings contentment and joy unspeakable even in the storms of life!
Accept Jesus as your Savior and make Him Lord of your life today. Your life is wasting away, and Time is running out!
