Beau-Max is my latest writing adventure.  It is a short story based on my experiences with the boys I inherited and what I believe Odis was like as a young boy. It is positive, not preachy but a good message and how young boys were taught character and integrity.

I went against the odds and married my high school sweetheart who had been divorced for three years, raising his boys. My friends told me I was crazy, it won’t last and don’t do it. With 450 miles between us, we had the hottest romance via letters since King Henry VIII and his mistress, Anne Boleyn.
